NO ACCESS TO EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, BACKUP CODE OR AUTHENTICATION METHOD
Hello [cx name],
This is [your name] from Nexus Assistance. Thanks for reaching out.
If you cannot sign into your Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) account because you’ve permanently lost access to your email address, phone number, backup code or authentication method, you can reset your account by deleting it.
- Enter your email address at https://secure.login.gov.
- Enter your password
- Click the ‘sign in’ button
- Authenticate using one of the methods you set up
- On your account page, select ‘Delete Account’ from the menu on the left side of the page
- Select ‘Delete Account’ from the ‘Your Account menu
- Enter your password to confirm account deletion
Deleting your existing account and creating a new one will allow you to either change your email address or set up new two-factor authentication methods.
Also, your TTP information/application will not be deleted. You will be able to retrieve them when you relink your account. Once you have deleted your old account, follow the instructions here to take over your account once more: https://global-entry-pass-us.com/how-to-access-your-global-entry-application/
Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional help.

Error message saying, "This email is already associated with an account"
Hello [cx name],
This is [your name] from Nexus Assistance. Thanks for reaching out.
Please be advised that each email address is considered a unique login, so you can only use each email address once. If you receive this message, you may have used the email address to register a family member. Please use a different email address to create your account.
If you use Gmail, you may also create an "alias" using your preferred email.
If your email is example@gmail.com, you may enter example+john@gmail.com or example+jane@gmail.com when creating a new login.gov account. The login.gov will recognize each of these email addresses as unique, and all confirmation emails will be delivered to your example@gmail.com inbox.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional help.

RESET PASSWORD
Hello [cx name],
This is [your name] from Nexus Assistance. Thanks for reaching out.
Follow these steps to reset your password.
- Go to https://secure.login.gov.
- Select the “Forgot your password?” link near the bottom of the page.
- On the next screen, enter your email address.
- Click the “Continue” button.
- Check your email for a message from Login.gov.
- Click the “Reset your password” button in the message. This will take you back to the Login.gov website.
- Enter your new password.
- Click the “Change password” button.
Passwords must be at least 12 characters. That’s it! There are no other restrictions. You can even use more than one word with spaces to get to 12 characters. Try using a phrase or a series of words that only you recognize. Your login.gov password should be different from passwords you use for other accounts such as your bank account or email. Using the same password for many accounts makes identity theft easier.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional help.
Thank you,
