Our New Industry: Helping people get an ESTA. So, what is an ESTA?
Let's start with some background knowledge: Any foreigner (person who does NOT have US Citizenship or Residency) either needs an ESTA or a Visa to enter the United States. Only citizens from specific countries are eligible to apply for ESTAs, meaning they get approved to enter the United States without needing a visa.
ESTA stands for “Electronic System for Travel Authorization" and is issued by the U.S Department of Homeland Security under their "Visa Waiver Program."
Foreigners from select countries can apply for an ESTA if they want to travel to the U.S for tourism or business for 90 days or less without obtaining a visa
In other words, an ESTA is issued to Non-U.S. citizens and Non-U.S. Immigrants from particular countries who want to travel to the United States for a short stay.
